Kia ora, so I started this blog to share my photography and hopefully inspire me to get out and about more, but as I near the end of my 'creative' job, I find myself wanting to write more and more but I don't want to write about boring, uninteresting stuff and it's not like I'm going to pour my heart out on here either lol.
So instead I've decided to share my Spotify playlists. My pride and joy. I just had a revamp of my Spotty. I changed all of the playlist pictures, added a bunch of bangers to each playlist and the whole thing is just looking very lush so I thought I better share.

Hola to my biggest and absolute best playlist, featuring artists like Usher, Sean Paul, TLC, Destiny's Child, Aaliyah, Ja Rule & Ashanti, Wyclef Jean, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey, Craig David and Frank Ocean. Among others. This playlist has my favourite R&B tracks and those tracks that kind of have that same vibe. Favourite playlist hands down.
Ideal for roadtrips, or parties where you want everyone to sing along. With songs like Hey Ya!, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, My Humps and Mr. Brightside, this playlist is guaranteed to house the songs that everyone knows.
My gangsta playlist, the one that contains many of my favourite tracks. Tupac, Biggie, Eminem & J. Cole heavily populate this playlist and it is great. Other artist features are the O.G's Snoop Dogg & N.W.A, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj & 50 Cent.
The playlist perfect for BBQ's with your parents, or when your parents have their friends over, or you just want a jam to some classics. If you're into a bit of Earth, Wind & Fire, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen and Michael Jackson than this playlist is going to blow your mind.
*yeeeeeehah* what a darn good collection. Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and Shania Twain sit amongst a vast array of old and new country tracks. All of which I absolutely love and I can go through this whole playlist without skipping a song.
"Reggae nights, we come together when the feeling's right" Too many songs that define my childhood and remind me of my parents in here. From Kiwi artists like Katchafire and the Herbs, to classic Bob Marley and UB40 this playlist is dope and no doubt tapped into by my mum a lot.
Get your doof doof speakers out this one is going to be a doozy. Some of my fave tracks in here include, 'Working For It' by ZHU, 'Need You' by Dillion Francis, all the Shapeshifter that's jammed in there and 'Pass Out' Tinie Tempah. Shelve some pingerz, skull your Scrumpy hands and turn the music up for this one. Honestly, makes you want to get drunk whenever this playlist gets switched on.
Great for when i'm tired, or on a lazy Sunday, or if I still studied it would be great for that too. So relaxing, also doubles as a great playlist for when I'm sad. There's some great songs that help bring out the sadness.
I couldn't create playlists on Spotify without paying tribute to One Direction. The band who consumed so much of my teenage years after I realised I would never marry Justin Bieber. One Direction + friends is a playlist dedicated to 1D, Justin Bieber and a few other's who I love. My favourite 1D songs are 'Best Song Ever', 'Steal My Girl', 'Diana', 'Little White Lies', 'Kiss You', 'Rock Me', 'Heart Attack' to name a couple. If I could only listen to one more 1D song for the rest of my life it would be 'I Would'. 'I Would' is also off of my favourite One Direction album.
A collection of throwbacks with no specific genre in mind. It's literally willy nilly. Don't be alarmed when the playlist goes from 'Under The Bridge' by the Chillis to 'Bleeding Love' by Leona Lewis and then to 'Knock You Down' Keri Hilson, Kanye West & Ne-Yo. A seriously great playlist for those who love a throwback and are always up for a surprise.
This is basically the One Direction + friends playlist but with a Chris Brown spin. My all time fave Chris Brown song is 'Gimmie That' and more specifically the remix with Lil Wayne who is one of my favourite rappers. Nelly, Chance The Rapper, Kanye West & Drake all populate this playlist alongside Chris Brown.
Full of the best Kiwi songs. I especially love this playlist because it has my favourite photo of Grandad as the profile picture. It's the only one with a playlist cover that is in colour but it's nice because the photo always captures my attention. As the title states it's Kiwi music - mostly. There's a few that aren't from NZ but they're on the Ten Guitars albums so I added them anyway.
Explains itself really... Love you Kanye.
Named after the classic track by Dove Shack, which ironically does not feature at all in this playlist, this song is full of classic summertime vibes. Some new, some old, all upbeat and funky. Special mention to Matoma's remix of 'Old Thing Back' absolute banger of a track and is probably the best song in that playlist.
A very seasonal playlist but one that needs to sit there all year to mark my favourite time of year. Christmas features the best Christmas songs ever and I frequently tap into the playlist from October onwards.
No doubt my most played playlist, I'm always updating this playlist with new songs and scraping old songs when I get sick of them. At the moment I'm loving 'rockstar' - Post Malone & 21 Savage, 'Homemade Dynamite' the remix featuring Lorde, Khalid, Post Malone. I quite like Khalid's music. Jamming 'American Teen' quite a bit. 'New Rules' by Dua Lipa, 'Questions' by Chris Brown and 'Friends' by Justin Bieber are also absolute jams.
Follow me on Spotify and I will follow you back. Pinky promise.
