Cook Strait

To move from Auckland to Tapanui, I could've flown. But due to the large amount of clothing and such that I have accumulated over my last 2 years in the '09, flying was completely out of the picture.

So was driving south in my wee Demio. So, I sold the car, bought a new one, flew Luc up to Auckland, chucked him in the car with my stuff, asked the whanau down the country if we could stay with them the night and then booked a one way ferry.

Saturday the 14th of October at 4.30am we kicked off the roadie south. No pictures from the 'Naki or from Wellington as we were on a mission to get there without stopping and were busy hanging out with the fam. But as we had 3.5 hours to kill on the ferry, I decided to bust out the camera and snap some pictures.

Check out the birds nest that is my hair. That's what three long days driving and no care who sees you looks like.
