Hyde Park

Set right in the heart of London, Hyde Park quickly became one of my favourite parts of the city. Where I was staying was just a hop, skip and a jump away from Hyde Park - the Italian Gardens end, and every morning I would go for a stroll and discover something new.

Hyde Park was created to satisfy a royal passion for hunting, King Henry VIII and his court would thunder across Hyde Park in 1536 in pursuit of deer and wild boar. But eventually it opened to the public and has become well known for being one of the best spots in London.
